Pegascoin has Windows Wallet and Web Wallet.
Strongly recomended use unique addresses to prevent reply attack. Due to lack of support for EIP-155
You can always download latest version of PGC Windows Wallet from pegascoin.com website in Wallets tab or this page.
Latest version is: Pegascoin Wallet v1.7 DOB Full
Direct Link: http://pegascoin.com/Downloads/Pegascoin_wallet_v1_7DOBfull.zip
After you download the .zip verify MD5 checksum (see point 12 from this FAQ below)
Close your windows wallet if it's open (check if closed also by checking Task Manager)
- Download latest PGC windows wallet (example v1.7 DOB)
- Open the folder where your old PGC windows wallet is installed.
- Unrar latest PGC windows wallet and copy over your old PGC windows wallet folder.
Open Pegascoin_wallet_v1_7DOB.exe
When creating a PGC address you need to backup: UTC file + your Password + Private Key
Before an update / wallet directory change / windows reinstall if you didn't already, then you need to backup:
UTC file from \PEGASCOIN Wallet Win64 v1.7\gpg_base\keystore folder (where Win64 v1.7 is wallet version)
Password
Private Key (when you first created the account)
* if you used pegaschain.net or MEW to create your PGC account you need to backup the UTC file that was downloaded in your PC via browser.
* blockhain files are in PEGASCOIN Wallet Win64 v1.7\gpg_base\chaindata
Enter pegaschain.net - KEYSTORE > PRIVATE KEY tab and follow the steps.
or myetherwallet.com - View Wallet Info tab, then Keystore / JSON File - SELECT WALLET FILE - Enter password - Unlock and see your private key.
Yes, the PGC Web Wallet is available only at this address: https://pegaschain.net
For creating an address in web wallet enter
https://pegaschain.net/
* always double check that web wallet address you use now and later will be only official pegaschain.net
Click NEW ACCOUNT - create a strong password in Enter password field and click CREATE.
The UTC file will now be downloaded in your browser's downloads folder. SAVE that UTC file + PGC address and Private Key that appears.
Address: ...
Private key: ... (save the private key, UTC and password)
- Address created in PGC web wallet can also be used in MyEtherWallet : Custom node Pegascoin URL https://pegaschain.net PORT 3000
- Address created in PGC web wallet can be used also in PGC Windows Wallet.
You need to copy UTC file in \PEGASCOIN Wallet Win64 v1.7\gpg_base\keystore folder,
then open Pegascoin_wallet_v1_7DOB.exe - wallet will open - wait for blocks to update and you will see your PGC address.
Go to pegaschain.net and click SEND TRANSACTION tab
Enter recipient address
Enter PGC amount
Then click SUBMIT
You get 2 options how you can send TX: via keystore or private key
If you will use keystore than select keystore, enter pass and click recover
After few second private key field will be filled
And than click generate TX
You will get RAW code your transaction
The 10 steps tutorial with images explain the send transaction option: see https://goo.gl/9GjQyp
It is the same, the only difference is that to make DAC you need type 01 in data filed, but for simple transaction you not need that field.
You can send PGC also by using MyEtherWallet: Custom node Pegascoin URL https://pegaschain.net PORT 3000
You are using web wallet and click OPEN DOB - Enter password - SELECT A KEYSTORE FILE... - SIGN DOB ...
If you get Node not connected - refresh page and try again then or a minute later. This is just a network related issue.
You can also use Webwallet via MyEtherWallet: Custome node Pegascoin URL https://pegaschain.net PORT 3000 (*without DOB option)
If this error appears, and you have wallet issues, close the wallet, End task gpg.exe in Task Manager and try again later.
If issue persist, contact #support.
If wallet crashes for any reason and when you can't open or use wallet, account and blocks are not updating, then:
- close your wallet
- open Task Manager - End task this process: gpg.exe
- open wallet again and wait for blocks to update 100%.
Another reason why windows wallet doesn't work is because port 9999 in you PC is used by other application.
Check port 9999 is used by other app, close that app and open PGC wallet.
How to check port: open Command Prompt as administrator and enter: netstat -aon -ab
If there is another application using port 9999, close that application and then open PGC wallet.
You can use MyEtherWallet from https://www.myetherwallet.com
Click on the right up Network ETH (myetherapi.com) - go to Add Custom Network / Node - a pop will appear - Set Up Your Custom Node
Node Name: Pegascoin
URL: https://pegaschain.net
Port: 3000
Select Custom
Save & Use Custom Node
DOB is not supported in MEW. For DOB you need to use PGC Windows Wallet or PGC Web Wallet from pegaschain.net
You can use any tool or a site like http://onlinemd5.com/ to check checksum.
Download our wallet .zip from site, go to onlinemd5 site, choose file, check MD5 checksum type and copy our checksum for MD5 in compare with field, then click compare.
If the same checksum you are good to use the wallet. If not the same contact us immediatelly in discord to help.

We recommended checking checksum from 2 places at once. Checksums are also available in discord #wallet.
Open depository button is grey and can not be clicked when blockchain is not fully updated or you didn't select an account.
* wait for blockchain to update to latest block, select account and then on the right below you can click and Open depository.
- if you are using web wallet click OPEN DOB - Enter password - SELECT A KEYSTORE FILE... - SIGN DOB, then choose one and ACTIVATE DEPOSIT
- if you are using windows wallet:
open Win64 v1.7 DOB - wait for blocks to update to latest block - select account and on the right below click OPEN DEPOSITORY
there you will see:
My deposits - registered, reserved, removed, ended
Available deposits - if more than one available choose and click Activate deposit.
For web wallet (and same steps for windows wallet) we have a 10 step tutorial with images, check it here: https://goo.gl/9GjQyp
To register a DAC is required to:
- have a balance on account address in amount of WORTH AMOUNT+PRICE AMOUNT+TX FEE meaning 50K+1K+TX FEE
- send transaction with PRICE AMOUNT to registrar address with data 01
After successfully passing the balance check, DAC will be registered for a period of 3 months.
registrar address: 0xaf3f1729ed310cf7ad351d6ba3577cc96ce6b453
registrar address is the address where account will send PRICE AMOUNT for DAC registration
DOB2.0 address: 0x8108c50ee01c5e6389ccbf7be1dfff7178f51b70
DOB2.0 address is the address from where DAC will get DAILY REWARD
We recommended to check registrar address in at least 2 places before opening a DAC.
You can double check the registrar address in bitcointalk, discord or here.
